Simple Eye Makeup Corrector

Simple Kind to Eyes, Eye Makeup Corrector is a makeup remover pen. It has a fine point for easy corrections of eyeliner that might have been a bit too thick or you smudged a bit.

The first time I used this product I thought it was great. It removed the bits I needed and it did help with the pointed tip for very small corrections. As I’ve been using it more it doesn’t really do anything anymore. It smudges a bit as the point is now stained with the other products from before. Even though it’s supposed to be cleaned with a face wipe after each use. It doesn’t get rid of all the makeup, it just soaks deeper into the pen.

It feels like a waste of money because you have to wipe it with a face wipe after each use. So I don’t actually save by not buying makeup remover wipes… I still have to use them to clean the pen. I’m not keen on that and I can remove my makeup easily enough with the wipes.

It retails at £4.99 so it’s not over-priced but I think I’ll stick with face wipes.

Revlon Just Bitten

Revlon Just Bitten lip stain is quite a good product. I have it in the colour ‘gothic’ which is a very reddy- red. When I first bought it, it went on great and had a great amount of colour with it and the attached balm is really good too. It stayed on for a long time too which is great.

I’ve had it a while now and it’s pretty much dried up like a felt tip. It’s not a good idea to put it on over lip balm first because it just glides over the lip without giving any colour so it’s a good idea to make sure you’re lips are moisturised beforehand and any lip balm is wiped off before application.

It retails at about £8 and I would buy it again because it is a great product but maybe I’d get it in a more subtle colour so that i’d use it more often before it got a chance to dry up. But for those who like a good red colour lip product that stays on, it’s really great.

Lip Smackers

Lip Smackers Lip Balm Coca-cola vanilla flavour is great!

It tastes so yum! It smells nice too.

It’s a lovely texture to put onto my lips, it glides on easily. I use lots of different lip balms and this is my night time one. I cover my lips in it before I go to sleep and in the morning they feel so beyond soft. It really is a great product.

I got this from Primark and I’m sure it was around £1.50 but it’s worth every penny!

Bourjois Liner Stylo

Bourjois Liner Stylo is an eyeliner pencil. I have it in black and it goes on quite well at first. I use it on the waterline and it doesn’t stay on all day. It tends to smudge below my bottom lashes over the day so I usual reapply again through the day and if I was going out in the evening I’d reapply again. But I’ve not used it many times because it’s quite disappointing.

I used it on my upper lid to line my upper lashes and it stayed on there. It just didn’t stay on the waterline.

It retails for about £5.50 so I wouldn’t buy it again. It’s not the greatest.

Maxfactor Colour Perfection

Maxfactor Colour Perfection eyeliner is great! The sharpener on the end isn’t very good and clogs really easily but that’s the worst thing I can think of with it so it can’t be that bad!

I use it on my waterline and it stays on all day. It fades a little but it doesn’t smudge or anything. It goes on dark grey at first but after going over the lines a couple of times it goes to a really good black.

It’s fairly resistant to water too. It does run a little with tears but it wipes off really easily with the hand.

It works better when not blunt for some reason.

It retails for around £5 which is good for the product. I will buy this again once it runs out but it’s lasting a long time too.

Lancome Hypnose Doll Eyes

Lancome Hypnose Doll Eyes mascara is great. It’s in great packaging with a cute pattern.

The actual mascara is fantastic. It goes on easily and doesn’t clump. I usually put 2 coats on after curling my lashes and it gives me a great look. I’d do 3 coats for going out to make my lashes even thicker. It gives them great length too. It lasts all day without flaking and doesn’t run down my face if it rains even though it isn’t (to my knowledge) waterproof.

My boyfriend didn’t even realise the name of the mascara and when I first put it on and asked him how it looked he said I look like I have doll eyes. Pretty successful I reckon!

It retails at about £20 so it isn’t cheap. I would definately buy it again if I could afford that and I’ll certainly be gutted once I run out of it. It is a great product. Absolutely my favourite mascara so far.

Barry M Liquid Eyeliner

Barry M Liquid Eyeliner… wow. I LOVE it. It’s great!

I use this along my top lashes and the shape of the brush is great for thin lines. The lines can be built up easily and it’s so easy to come off if I make a mistake without smudging the rest.

It’s a great consistency… liquid-y enough without any dripping or too much runnyness. It’s a great black too. Very good colouring.

It dries quickly too and stays on all day but comes off really easily with makeup remover.

It’s a great product in every way.

I bought it for £4.79 from superdrug.
